New Substack
I made a new Account
It has come to my attention that my post on this account gained some attention on Hacker News and I have gained some new subscribers to this defunct substack. I have not stopped writing, for some reason I made two substacks and have been posting on the other ever since my first post on here. I have reposted the original essay on my new substack along with other new writings. If you want to continue reading my work please follow me to my active account the link to which I will provide below. I am trying to be more active and generate content more consistently since I have recently graduated and have substantially more free time now.
Side note: The majority of people on Hacker News were not happy with my post and since the time I originally posted the article I have tried to become more educated on the topic of information theory and compression in order to refine my ideas on intelligence and compression so if you are only interested in my ramblings about this topic I plan on making a new post about the subject soon.

You can also find me on Twitter where I mostly shit post with the occasional bad philosophy take sprinkled in for good measure: https://twitter.com/wittgenfine
You can also contact me at wittgenfine@gmail.com if you want to tell me more about how dumb I am for believing lossless compression is equivalent to intelligence or how I don’t understand Hegel or something.
Okay done shilling. Thank you for reading, I hope to see some of you on the new page.
